sleeping soundly in my arms.. i just wish for time to stop there and then so that i can hold him and carry him for as long as i hope to.. but i know, one day, he is going to grow up tall and strong and i may need him to carry me instead.. he will grow up, go to school, work, fall in love, get marry and leave me one day.. mummy's boy's days are not forever.. so we should always treasure the time we have with our baby.. when they are still a baby that is..
Recently I 'complained' to Keane's PD that at age 4 he still wants us to carry him very often. The PD told us to carry as much as we can lor...cos the day will come when we wanted to carry him and he asked "WHY?" then you will feel a sense of lost.
How true...there are only the first few years that our babies will want our attention. When they are older and have friends, they will prefer their friends company rather that their parents.
Oh, another way not to feel 'unwanted' is to have more bbs lor...so when one outgrows the 'mummy's boy' stage, you still have the younger ones to play with. haha.
hmmm.. so i can foresee the fourth one coming.. hahaha..
