Dear told me to read up the Glen Doman's materials on "How to teach your baby to read" .. heard it is adopting similar methods as Shichida using flash cards and photographic memory of the baby.. it says that we should be training their right brain since young, since birth, from Day 1 they are born! and imagine now is already week 5 of Cepheus birth and we have not started on anything yet, made me felt so left out and lost! like we have lost 5 weeks of Cepheus time liao.. when i read the materials i myself already so stress, how to teach Cepheus?? Hmm think if we really want to teach him these, then better send him to the school and leave it to the professionals. I checked up Shichida and a term of 12 sessions can costs up to 1.3k alone, let alone the reading materials and parenting training session somemore.. wow.. not sure if such lessons are really worth it anot.. sometimes i think i rather spend such money on building up his social skills and other areas such as swimming etc..

What losing out of 5 weeks rubbish is that?? Even 5 weeks is hugely exaggerated. What kind of life does babies lead nowadays??
I say, let the baby be a baby. My parents didn't receive much of an education nor do they have this kind of teaching methods back in our time, and look how your husband, my sis and I all turned out? Not too bad right?
Really, just rest and take care of yourself and baby. Let nature take its course.
hi linda! so nice to hear from ya! heard you are having lotsa fun out there! hmmm then tell your bro stop stressing me already.. he was the one who suggested I have to train up the baby and creating flash cards for him le.. but i think building up the child's EQ is more impt and useful for him in his later life.. anyway, hope everything's fine for you, and hey when you come back next year, don't forget to bring some magnets back ok!
