I would be a stay home mum, to witness Cepheus first crawl, first step, and first murmurs of "mama" or "mummy"!! I feel that i have been a changed person nowadays, esp after giving birth to cepheus, a career minded me have changed to be a homely mum.. even if i were to leave the flat for a few hours, i will still think of Cepheus every moment.. always afraid that he is not full enough, not enough sleep and if he feels lonely.. Cepheus have a fever last night after his injection at the hospital, i only realise it at night when i carry him for feed and realise that oh my he is so damn hot! I blame myself for being a bad mum, how could i leave my bb alone after injection, esp when the nurses have informed us that he may have a slight fever after injection, i should have checked on him earlier! Am glad that Cepheus is fine now today after taking some doses of the medicine today..
Well, dun blame yourself. You will learn from experience.
I remember when Keane had fever the very first time after his jab. That was in the mid of the nite. We quickly feed him medicine but he puked all out including his milk. We were so kanchiong that we called our PD at 3am to ask what should we do next. The PD must be cursing and swearing that we woke him up from his sleep. kekeke.
hahaha yeah.. since we do not have a specific PD, we will know who to call next time.. kekeke...

My dear sis in law, I am so happy to hear that! :D To be honest, I did wonder if you will "warm up" to the responsibilities that comes with being a mother, because I remembered you feeling not very well during your pregnancy and seem to sulk a bit. I was thinking, oh dear, now it's just the pregnancy and already seems too uncomfortable for you, then after having a baby, how??? Can cope or not???
So I'm really happy that you are loving it! :D
I also love to read all your anecdotes on raising Cepheus! Not only because he's my nephew, but also because I am learning a lot from you and my bro, and my sis as well of coz. I can also feel your love spilling out as you learn everything for the first time, and can imagine you trying to be as patient as possible. So keep it up! Good job!
Your sis in law.
Can't wait for you to get married and have your own kids. Really curious to see how/what you will turn into after having kids. ;p
I've got a feeling that I'll be too liberal for most other parents to be comfortable with. And yes, I'm not against hitting my children as a punishment.
I strongly believed that the appropriate punishment dished out at appropriate misdoing/mistake/error is important. It could be a sound scolding or withholding certain privileges. However, sometimes kids do deserve a beating. Like you, I'm not against hitting but I will leave that to Siowping. I think I will play the "Good guy" in my parenting role.
