How can it be! i weighed 45kg just last saturday and less than 7 days, now i become 47kg!! OMG! what is happening! something is wrong with my diet! but i thought i ate normally.. although i do admit that i tend to overeat during dinner and at night.. i eat more than usual at night but but still its not that much difference compared to what i ate previously before i got pregnant! like today, i ate 2 slice of bread with kaya in the morning, tom yam soup with rice in the afternoon, chap chye rice at night, a big slice of BBQ pork and half an apple.. is this too much?? i know i shouldnt eat so much at night but i don't have such good appetite at work though.. i know i must control my appetite.. and my weight..
Just eat whatever and whenever you feel like it. You are still very skinny lah..dun have to worry so much about weight gain. :)
I look like a hippo beside you lor. haha
You should feel happy when you're gaining weight. It shows that your baby is growing well in the stomach. If i can remember... I think you should be gaining at least abt 15kg (at average) at the end term of the pregnancy... which is a healthy sign. I'm a very skinny person too. When I had my pregnancy, doc said that I wasn't gaining much and it's not very good. So i have to eat & drink a lot of tonic. So, continue to eat well on healthy food. Don't worry abt getting fat... It's all for your baby. You can easily get back in shape after your baby is born. Trust me.
hmm i think hor must be either the position of the baby that is causing the inaccuracy in weighing or my weighing machine got prob le.. i weighed myself yes'day at my mum's place again and i am back to 47kg le!! and today i weigh again at my place becomes 49kg le!! shld have invested in a digital one than those cheap weighing machines! but i still guess its got to do with the baby position too le.. if its too low, it will tend to exert more weight down and if sometimes its higher, i will feel lighter on the scale.. hahaha .. so much of self consolation huh.. :P
Fruits are good but don't eat too much papayas & watermelon. Guavas & avocados are really good on its mineral contents. Choose to eat yogurts rather than ice-cream. After your baby is born, try to breastfeed your child for a couple of months/as long as you can. You'll be able to regain back your original weight in abt 2 months. I'd breastfeed my daughter for a year, her immune system is waaaaaay much stronger than my son (only breastfeed for 3 months).
Note: For breastfeeding, the milk won't come out until 3-4 days of trying. So, if u intend to b/f ur child, don't give up trying in the hospital!
haha! cos we thought the bear looks cuter and i like bears! i myself have two polar bears that i hug to bed every nite! ;) ;)
